Our approach is backed by more than 40 years of production experience and is based on a project finance approach. We are here to give you the tools and resources to grow your production and optimise performance.
1. Seed & pre-seed stage investment
NewSeas partners with producers at seed stage: either joining into the membership of an existing business or recruiting proven operators for opportunities developed by NewSeas directly. Our seed-stage investments focus on tightening project parameters and reducing risk, to pave the way for an attractive and successful scale-up financing round.
2. Articulation of a bankable business plan
We work with our operator partner to detail a base-case performance forecast that is data-based, realistic, and which project stakeholders are ready to stand-behind. This includes a Project Finance -based financial model that dissects risks and performance drivers so that developers and investors can channel their attentions towards the areas that really count.
3. Management of expansion financing-raising
NewSeas coordinates the scale-up financing shoulder-to-shoulder with our partner operator. Our combination of production and finance expertise helps project stakeholders bridge the information gap that has been so difficult for the production industry to date, and uncover solutions that bring good deals over the line.
4. Derisking co-development & operations support
As a long-term partner with the operating team, NewSeas is fully aligned with our partners towards the projects’ optimisation and growth. Our role post-investment is to support the day-to-day management team with value-adding functions such as stakeholder reporting and communications, technical support, and growth finance. By leveraging the scale of a production portfolio, we will also enhance sales and marketing opportunities for our partner companies.
